As an educator, consultant and facilitator I have significant standing with more than 25 years of combined training, senior strategic leadership and organisational learning and development experiences. I also have substantive expertise in education, leadership development and equality diversity and inclusion. It is these diverse professional experiences and expertise that underpin my successful and high impact consultancy, coaching, facilitation and pedagogy. I have worked with colleagues in higher education establishments, training institutions and learning and development departments supporting staff at all levels in public, private and not for profit organisations in the UK and internationally to positive collaborative effect.
Additionally, I have expert facilitation skills, including the facilitation of action learning sets, and clarity of approaches and methodologies used when working with very senior individuals and teams. I have a Ph.D. in Action Research and Management Studies (Bath University UK), and is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) of the Institute of Consulting. I have a high reputation for expertise in participatory approaches to development solutions, employing appreciative inquiry approaches, self-management techniques and empowerment methodology in helping individuals, teams, organisations and communities build capacity. I am a national award winning facilitator of best in class leadership development programmes, public sector programmes and equality, diversity and inclusion programmes. I am also an international award winner for short story writing and was recently honoured with a community award as a leadership developer and for outstanding contribution to community development.
